I was getting excited until I read "in french".  Whelp, too bad I can't read french.  Nice art, though.  Very well done.  It's stuff like this that gives the Pokemon franchise the depth it deserves, because the anime sorely lacks in it.  Of course, I say this because it's become something I didn't want it to be, so my subjective opinion may or may not be popular.  However, I feel like I'm not the only one who believes that Ash should have kept more in contact with his original crew in some way.  Some artists create a world where they never depart, no matter what.  Like when Misty had to stay at the Gym, an artist drew Ash willingly insisting on staying around because he felt that he owed it to her.  This, though, is also cute.  We never really see Ash stay in contact with his old friends except for a few exceptions, so to mention it in your dialogue really warms my heart.

Again, well done!
